Paradime Period , Music Video Produced filmed and edited my Brandon Damon.

We were all set to shoot on the rooftop of Detroit Distillery, with the skyline as our backdrop, but the weather had other plans. Instead, we got creative. I had my secret weapon with me, my best grip, who we’ll just call Mr. E—you know, to keep his identity under wraps so no one else tries to steal him. He’s the kind of person you want on every shoot, and this time, he played a huge role in making the video come to life.

Together, we scouted an alternative spot last-minute and ended up transforming a gritty loading dock with stacked crates and careful lighting. It wasn’t our first choice, but we made it look incredible. We even had a sleek car on set, which added to the vibe.

Working with Paradime has changed over the years. He’s all about business now—no distractions. He’s got a family, so when we’re on set, it’s straight to work. Every shot needed to be precise, and we kept that energy tight.

A big shoutout to Mr. E, who also jumped in as the backup VHS camcorder operator. It ended up giving us some of the main shots, capturing that nostalgic, raw feel we were going for.

And of course, I have to thank everyone who came out to make this shoot what it was: Fatt Father, Pat Deegan, DJ Los, Chief, Apollo Brown, Ty Farris, SNIK, Ketchphrase, and HEX. Also, major thanks to Trilogy Beats for capturing all the behind-the-scenes shots you’ll see below.

This one was a team effort through and through, and I’m proud of what we pulled off. Stay tuned for the final video—it’s going to be one for the books.
